We are looking employees to join our new non ferrous handling facility located in Duncrue st, Belfast
The job we are recruiting for is a general operative/ labourer within the working hours of 0800 - 1700, Monday to Friday.
What you will be doing
- Loading, unloading and moving various items of scrap materials for recycling, such as metal.
- Sorting and grading of various metals
- Learning to use various equipment on site (balers, gullotine, etc.)
- Conducting daily checks on site equipment and reporting of problems accordingly.
- Actively participate in our strong safety culture.
- Ensuring the company Health & Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
- Monitoring all visiting suppliers
- Assisting site management as required.
- completion of general house keeping duties

- Organised, safety conscious, physically fit and motivated.
- Comfortable working outside.
- Availability to work Saturday mornings when required.
- Ability to travel to and from the depot without difficulty.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Starting at £10 per hour basis 42.5hrs per week. Any additional hours paid at overtime rate
