Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that policies, procedures and processes are aligned with regulatory and customer requirements
- Conducting reviews, gap analysis, creating and implementing corrective action plans
- Working with all value streams within the business to support change
- Implementing and supporting the Safety Management System
- Continually assessing regulatory requirements to ensure as a minimum compliance is maintained
- Support, conduct and facilitate internal and external audits
- Support various quality related activities including continuous improvement activities across all sites
Requirements
- Part 66 Licence Holder / Engineering Degree preferred
- Knowledge of EASA/UK regulations relating to aircraft maintenance, operation, engineer licencing & certification
- Experience of working in an Aircraft Maintenance Organisation
- knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Organisation quality related processes and procedures
- Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools/techniques
- The ability to adapt to change quickly with a positive attitude
- Ability to plan and work to deadlines and on own initiative
- Ability to travel within UK and Europe
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Smartsheet/MS Office suite experience
- The successful candidate must provide a clear Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports
