We are currently recruiting for a temporary Finance Assistant for a Summertown based Oxford University Department for 12 weeks in the first instance, paying £12.92 p/h.

Duties include:

• Respond to straightforward enquiries, providing advice on financial procedures and policies and referring to the Finance officer where necessary

• Responsible for raising purchase requisitions in the Oracle Financial System and deal with anomalies, escalating complex queries to the most appropriate person

• Responsible for raising invoices in the Oracle Financial system for income to be collected by a Faculty (e.g. Donations, conference income)

• Responsible for raising journals to correct coding mistakes in the Oracle Financial system
