Scot JCB Group have an opportunity for a Trainee Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Glasgow, initially on a 1-year fixed term contract with the potential of developing into a permanent role. This role would suit a confident and outgoing graduate or school leaver looking to kick start their marketing career in an established business.
Working alongside the marketing manager and marketing executive, the successful candidate will support the team with social media, campaigns, events, content creation, web analytics, employee uniforms, branding, internal/external comms and more.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, based at our Glasgow Head Office
Salary: Between 18-22k, dependant on experience

This role involves:

Providing administrative support to the marketing team

Monitoring and logging all merchandise and employee uniform requests

Day to day management of employee uniform supplies

Tracking and checking sales leads from our website and JCB

Collating and analysing information from customer surveys
-
Managing the marketing email inbox and escalating as appropriate

Content creation for social media and internal comms

Supporting off-site events such as The Royal Highland Show and ScotPlant

Maintenance of our CRM system
The successful candidate will have:

Marketing experience or a relevant qualification (advantageous but not essential)

Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

The ability to prioritise tasks and work under their own initiative

Strong written and verbal communication skills

An interest in learning about the construction and agriculture industries
